In Ep4, Aughra sits on what she thinks is a rock, but it opens its eyes and grunts when she sits on it. A classic example of the blurred line between flora and fauna in Thra. A character name for Production. Never said out loud. Thra name is unknown and may vary.

Tavra

threaded

Adjective to describe someone under Threader mind control.

Threader

Threaders are tiny mind-controlling spider creatures. A subset of the Arathim family. When someone is under Threader mind-control, they can be referred to as ‘threaded’ (not title-cased).

Threaders are much smaller than their Silk Spitter brethren, many small enough to hide within the folds of clothing or Gelfling architecture. Threaders have the uncanny ability to control the

minds and bodies of the creatures they make contact with. While controlling their host, Threaders have a similar experience to Gelfling dreamfasts, and so are able to see and hear their host’s memories and thoughts.

The Three Brothers

a.k.a. The Triple Suns. Thra’s three suns: The Great Sun, the Rose Sun, and the Dying Sun. Can each be referred to as the ‘first brother’, ‘second brother’, or ‘third brother’. They can also be known as the ‘inner’ or ‘outer’ suns (the Dual Glaive was forged in the ‘inner sun’). The term ‘sundown’ can also be used. When a sun or moon is at its highest point in the sky it is said to be ‘in its zenith.’ Other sayings include ‘by the first sun’s rise’ (i.e. ‘before sunrise’), ‘when the first brother rises’ (i.e. ‘at sunrise’), and ‘where the three brothers dare not shine’ (self-explanatory).

The Three Sisters

a.k.a The Triple Moons. Thra’s three moons: the Blue Moon, the Pearl Moon, and the Hidden Moon. Can each be referred to as the ‘first sister’, ‘second sister’, or ‘third sister’. When a sun or moon is at its highest point in the sky it is said to be ‘in its zenith.’

the Tomb of Relics

Not mentioned or featured in “The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance” but canonical location in the Caves of Grot (per J.M. Lee books).

The Tombs of Relics is a library of ancient chambers interconnected by book-lined tunnels, deep in the Caves of Grot. Every chamber is full of artefacts on shelves, on the ground, in crates, in barrels, in chests. Here, the Grottan bring ancient relics of the Gelfling culture for safekeeping. Anything could be here, but no one would ever find it.
