Terry Ackland-Snow

Biography

Terry Ackland-Snow is a British film designer and the Chairman of the British Film Designers Guild. He was the art director for The Dark Crystal and has also been art director or production designer for more than eighty films going back to The Rocky Horror Picture Show in 1975. Along with working on Jim Henson's films Labyrinth and The Great Muppet Caper, Ackland-Snow worked on Superman II, Tim Burton's Batman, Spies Like Us, Aliens, and an array of television projects. In 2001, Ackland-Snow established the Film Design International Art Direction Training Course at Pinewood Film Studios and oversees instruction there.
